What did you grow up playing? What is your favorite game ever?

So growing up I had a Super Nintendo (Super Mario World, Donkey Kong, Yoshi's Island, Speedy Gonzales, The Mask) and a playstation 2 (Ratchet and Clank series, Jak and Daxter, Fur Fighters, Sly Cooper but I only ever played 2 and 3, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Guitar Hero).

I think my favorite game in the world is the Ratchet and Clank series! It has kept me hooked for years lol
Fur Fighters is a close second but tbh that game is insanely hard to figure out and I have owned it since I was ike 12 and JUST now beat it with the help of the internet. There were some puzzles in there I was like HOW WOULD YOU EVER FIGURE THAT OUT..

The very first game I ever played was Pokemon Yellow Version. First console game I personally owned (not counting the Sega/Nintendo games I played on family member's consoles) was Donald Duck Quack Attack on the Playstation, and first PC game was the original Sims followed by Zoo Tycoon. Would say I mostly stuck to Pokemon and The Sims back then, though I did get really into Mario Party and Harvest Moon later on in primary school.
As for my favorite game now... I've never actually thought about it! I feel like I play so many different genres and get such a wide variety of enjoyable experiences that it's hard to pinpoint just one. If I considered games in recent years, I might say Zelda: BotW.
Once I finish my degree and have a proper job/home I'd like to purchase all the consoles I felt I had missed out on when I was younger including a lot of games you mentioned. Yoshi's Island looks particularly interesting to me.

Pokemon, Pokemon Snap, Smash, Ocarina of time. Mostly Nintendo. Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing for sure. I got a ps2/Xbox 360 really late but loved Kingdom Hearts, Phantasy Star, and Red Dead Redemption.

My favorite game is probably Skyrim, overall. Or Harvest Moon Animal Parade was pretty good too. I have a lot of favorites.

I grew up playing the N64, so games like Banjo-Kazooie, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Yoshi's Story, the original Super Smash Bros, Pokemon Stadium 1/2 and Pokemon Snap have a super special place in my heart

I inherited the Nintendo 64 from my older brothers and also a Playstation from an older cousin. So I grew up playing any of their old games which were almost exclusively Mario games. Tons of Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart. Then on the PS I played the original Spyro game. That will perhaps forever be my nostalgic favorite.

My first game was Pokemon Blue, shortly followed by Zelda: Link's Awakening. On PS1, Crash (particularly Crash 3) and Spyro were my favourites. We got given a NES around the same time, and I was hooked when I found the Harvest Moon series though. On PC, I also really enjoyed Anno 1602 and Sim/Theme games like Sim Safari, Sim Coaster, Theme Hospital and Theme Park World. I'm actually really bummed because up until Windows 10, I could get Theme Park World to play, but now I've tried so many things and it just won't work properly.

It all started with Mario Bros Duck Hunt. My favorites were Crash and Spyro, Mario Bros 3, and then I got in to shooters like Socom, Syphon Filter, and Metal Gear. Then Halo, and then the CoD stuff. Now I'm on Red Dead 2
