[GUIDE] How to use the tapatalk app for Clraik

Please note that I made this guide with an Android phone, so it may be slightly different on other devices!

I see alot of questions about how to use this app, and there is not currently a guide for it, so I thought I would make one (:

    What is Tapatalk?
Tapatalk is an app that is available that allows you to store all of your forums in one place and browse them easily. You simply choose your forum, log in, and it's there. You click one button and you have access to the entire forum!

    What do I do first?
First things first, search for and download the tapatalk app on your device. Once it is installed, you will open it and click on the magnifying glass to search for a forum. In this case, you will enter clraik. Once it finds the forum, you will then log in. A button will then appear bearing the name and logo of the chosen forum on the main page. Click on this button every time you open Tapatalk to access clraik.

    Buttons on the Top
There are five buttons along the top of the screen: Latest, forums, favorites, PM, and more.
Latest: Displays the threads that were last posted on
Forums: Displays the catergories for the available sections.
Favorites: Displays the forums and topics you favorited (I only use this for clraik but I believe this supports multiple forums).
PM: This is where you can access your inbox and sent items.
    More: Five additional options;
    -Profile: Acess your profile
-Who's Online: Shows you who is currently on the forum
-Search: Allows you to search for anything in the forum
-Settings: Opens up the settings panel (will be explained in a bit)
-Logout: Logs you out of the forum

    Posting/replying to threads
Now this is where it might be different for other devices. On my Android phone, we have an options/menu button. When you are in the section you want to post a new thread in, press your options button and five options come up.
Refresh: refreshes all the threads on the current page
Search: Allows you to search all the threads in the chosen section
New Topic: Allows you to post a new thread
Mark forum as read: When there are new posts, the thread/forum is bolded. This option un-bolds it.
Subscribe: Notifies you when a new post/new thread is posted (I believe this is accessed in the favorites area).

When you are in a thread, press this button again and the following options come up.
    Refresh: Refreshes the thread
Reply: Allows you to post a response to the thread
Subscribe: Alerts you when a new reply is added to the thread
Search: Allows you to search the thread
Share: Allows you to post the thread to facebook/message/email etc
    More: Two additional options;
-Web View: Shows you the thread in your browser, as it would without the app
-Copy URL: Copies the web address of the thread

    Options for individual posts
When you are in a thread, there are options for individual posts, as there are on clraik. Click on the post, and several options come up. This is what each one is for.
Reply: Allows you to post a response on the thread
Quote: Adds a quote of their post to your response
Multi: Adds quotes from multiple posts to your response
Thanks: Says thank you to the author for posting
Edit: If this is your own post, it allows you to edit it
Share: Allows you to share the post to facebook/message/email etc
    More: Five additional options;
-Send author a message: Allows you to send a PM to the poster.
-Report: reports the post to administrators for offensive content
-Copy post content: Copies the entire post to your clipboard (copy/paste)
-Copy post URL: Copies the web address to that post
-View author's profile: takes you to the profile of whoever posted the post
-Open in Browser: Opens the post in your web browser

    Settings Panel
Open up the settings panel. Inside you will find several options to customize your viewing experience of the tapatalk app.

    Look & Feel:
-Color Pack: Controls which colors the app will use for its theme
-Dark Mode: Toggles the skin of the app from light to dark

-Default View: Picks which section comes up when you open the forum on the app

    Notification:
-Notification: Toggles whether or not you want to recieve notifications from the app, what you're notified about, how often it checks, etc
-Admin Broadcast: Check/UnCheck this box to recieve broadcasts from forum administrators

    Topic & Post:
-Use 24 hour format: Check this box to use military time in the app
-Posts per page: Controls how many posts come up when you click on a thread
-Loading Behavior: Controls if the oldest or newest post shows up when you click a thread
-Prefix Display: Toggles the prefix display, and where it appears in the app
-Notices & Stickies: Toggles whether or not stickied posts show up in a thread catergory

    Signature:
-Tapatalk Signature: Lets you choose a premade tapatalk signature, or has a customize button for you to make your own, or choose not to have one.
Customize: Lets you customize your own signature for your posts on Tapatalk.

    Advanced:
-Show Avatar: Toggles whether or not user's avatars show up by their posts
-Enable BBCode: Toggles whether or not you want the app to allow BBCode
-Save files to: Allows you to choose where files are saved to from the app
-Search History: Clears all search history when selected

    That's it!
I am pretty sure I covered everything in the app, if you have any questions about using it, or I have missed something, feel free to PM me, I'll get it since I use the app on my phone :p Hope this helped answer any questions you may have had!

*Also, please note that you cannnot give someone REP on the tapatalk app
