    Noob question about selling UCs~

Well, so the thing is I just decided to join this site because I want to sell a few legit UC neopets that have been rotting into my accounts forever. Neo doesn't appeal much to me anymore so I thought it'd be better to sell them.

But, seeing how things are with all the people who lurk this board I can't help but wonder: how would I go about advertising the pets species+color, name format, etc, without having people realize what pets I'm talking about? I used to be a PC regular (not the most popular one but still); i'm obviously not anymore, but I still fear that some people might remember me and notice exactly what pets I'm selling... because guests can see the trading section, right?

    Thanks

Any other advice is welcome/appreciated btw (how to avoid getting scammed, for example XD)

You have to be very vague, putting xxxxx or whatever the name format is. Or if you want to be really safe just post what UC your selling and tell people to mail you if they want details. But be careful with newer people if they ask you.

    What kluski said.

    -Species + color
-Whether VWN, WN, DN, or BN
-Name format in x_xxxx_xxxxxx (for instance)
-Other non-personal details like short history, if safe or active, well-known, or cached

Withhold pet/account names or anything unless:
-The user is well trusted (use your own judgment of cK members)
    -A moderator requesting verification
-The buyer upon receipt of payment

^Don't let anyone else pressure you otherwise.

Ooh thank you! I didn't know that... even though I was a guest for the longest time P: Now I feel a lot safer.

I guess I'll do what you're suggesting, Kluski. Might even tell them to nm me for the species/color ha. *paranoid*

You can simply use the abbreviations; VWN - Very Well Named, WN - Well Named, DN - Decent Named, BN - Badly Named. Or you can give a preview; Xxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxx_###(Vigilance/vigilance_2004), or do both.

    Example;

    WN UC Royalboy Draik (Xxxxxxxxx)

@(you need an account to see links) Yes, you can never be too careful, especially with UC's. Take every precaution possible

Unless you really trust your buyer, use a middle man!

Don't give stats, and if you have to, just say vague amounts.
If your pet is listed in JN directory, remove it x3

    Good luck selling :3
