You can simply state you traded a year or so ago in a three-way, and proceed to make up a story about what you traded for, what you traded with, etc.
Just be sure to be very general about it, not too much or too little detail. Also state how much you love said pet, and that you were so happy with the trade.

Alright I sent what you said. /: What bothers me is that she is too...nice.
I just really hope I don't get frozen.
If she asks for details of pet you traded or what not, Just find a friend or someone on here that has a decent account sitting around and use one of those pets for 'proof' so it has a second person involved and can be somewhat more credible. If you got the pet in a safe method worst that could happen I would say is it just disappearing shouldn't get frozen if it looked legit.
Awww, I would give the pet back, I know you spent your money on it... but.... I dunno,
Over the next year I plan on buying 18 UCs, and asked myself, 'What would I do if the old owner contacted me about their pet?' I'd give it back, because I only want UC's that are truly abandoned.
Also, what sort of pet is it? I'm planning on buying three UC's this Feb, if it's one of the cheaper UC's (15/70 bucks) I wouldn't mind buying you a replacement. :3

I suggest you take off the neomail in your OP, it can be easily tracked by the sender and they'll realize you bought it.

I just love the fact that nobody on that site can mind their own freakin business. My god -__- Is it a higher end UC?

@(you need an account to see links) Very true, but not so much in this case. It is the other person's business if the pet was originally stolen from her account.
@(you need an account to see links) Oh dear, that is not good at all....it's a shame UC's are so risky
