Since I can remember, my mom has a tradition of making pumpkin bread each year around the holidays. She makes cookies obsessively too, but her signature thing is pumpkin bread. I recently developed an allergy to walnuts so she went the extra mile this year to make me a whole separate loaf without them.

I usually go down to my aunt's house to decorate cookies with my cousin; the classic sugar cookies, of course. We also take two Ritz crackers and put peanut butter between them, and then dip them in chocolate and cover them with sprinkles. My cousin is 15 now, though, and is very much a bitch. She spends more time cheating, lying about pregnancies, and texting, than she does anything else. I doubt she'll be making cookies this year, haha.

I also go to a clubhouse meeting for mental health services each year for a christmas party. Every year I make some sort of creative cupcakes, and now they're what I'm known for. One year I struggled with money and barely even had the money for gas to drive there; some nice people gave me enough money for gas and cake mix. The only thing they wanted in return was for me to show up with cupcakes.

I'm hurting a bit because this will be my last christmas in the United States, but I hope that starting a new life out of country will bring some new traditions as well.

It's sad to see the fond children you grew up with (family and friends) develop into people very unexpected and undesirable to you, such is life.

Ooh, where ya goin'? If you have the will, starting somewhere new and unfamiliar is almost* always exciting and fun; the worst part is worrying what could go wrong before you depart.

My gosh, exactly. xD She was a sweet child. I wonder what happened to make her the way she is now.

I'll be going to Finland! It was very exciting and fun the first time I went. Now that I'll be moving there next time, I'm much more nervous than I already was. I'll miss my dog more than anything.

This squirrel will become earth all in his time.
And still later on, therell grow new trees from him,
with new squirrels skipping about in them.
Do you think thats so very sad?"

I don't really have any Christmas traditions seeing as I don't really have that much family.

I generally have traditions of making cookies and stuff with my grandma, but my grandma passed away 6 years ago. Christmas dinner was always a big thing too, but now I live in FL and it doesn't even feel like Christmas so nothing feels the same anymore
