    [Discussion] Bitcoin neopets trades

I've not gotten any takers on my trades for bitcoin; no doubt in part due to the complexity and unfamiliarity of the currency. However I'd much rather someone pay me in bitcoin than in paypal due to many benifits the online currency provides (no chargebacks for one!)

I've conducted only 1 trade, in my years of trading, between ETS and bitcoin.

Is this something that the community cares about? Has anyone else traded bitcoin for neopets stuff? I'm curious.

From what I've gathered, Bitcoin is neither safe nor secure. It has its benefits, but when it comes to Neo transactions, I'm sure most everyone would prefer using good ol' USD.

The above, however untrue, is certainly the general public's point of view. (no offense intended)
I know many forum members who own and trust Bitcoin above paypal. But they want to hold onto the Bitcoin instead of spend it. They are overwhelmingly sellers though.

I don't want to post member's usernames, since some people have a hate on for bitcoin and I don't want to ruin anyone's rep- other than kick the shit out of my already tarnished rep

Ah, I don't pretend to know much about it lol. But since it has such a low reputation, I would think that be reason enough to not use it?

Also be aware that btc is a very unstable currency.

A year ago it was $xx per coin,
over the summer was up to $xxx (sub-$500),
shot up over $1k last month,
then fell to $680 over this last weekend from $1,240 the week before that.
