Does anyone know why TNT made this board?

Neopets has always been hackable, always getting compromised, and TNT always looked the other way and said, "No, that never happened."
Well, this could be the first time they have to openly admit that their site was compromised.
The fact that one of their major fan sites posted about it being compromised, the endless screenshots users took, and the amount of paying players will force TNT to respond.
They can't look the other way anymore in my opinion because paying players could have their credit card information logged into the data.
Obviously, the hacker's intention may not be to steal credit card information, it may just be to cause fun chaos, but users may not view it that way.
Believe it or not, paying users do have a right in demanding answers by law, and I won't be surprised if this is a potential turning point for TNT to increase security.

Well I hope it's a potential turning point for TNT to improve everything...how sweet that would be.

If you log into theneopetsteam with a random password, it doesn't give you a weird message, it says bad password. However, if you try to log into a staff members account with a correct password, that DOES give you a different error message. This person doesn't really sound like they know what they are talking about tbh.

Idk what the link was to, but if it truly was altruistic, there would be no need to make a board like that or claim responsibility.

All in all, it wasnt anything toooo impressive, just a lil drama starting I guess.

So ive heard but it detects something diff when trying to log on. like you need to be in their server or some shit.
