My sister is due on christmas so i'm hoping ill be in maine .. don't know if it'll happen..
We haven't even finished with Thanksgiving!
I'm happy that my work schedule is much easier to work with than the past few years. I either worked in retail... and nobody gets off around the holidays too much. Or I was working in a different department at the casino and it's a pretty similar thing as retail since it's a major entertainment venue.
But this year I only work weekends, so I'll get to enjoy Thanksgiving, Christmas, and I'll even get to get completely shit faced again for New Years! It's gonna be a good next month or two
What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left

Hmm not sure yet.
Typically the plan is wake up, food, presents, relax. Then we (my mom and I) go to my Great Aunt's for appetizer type foods and coffee and presents that my Aunt gets for people. Then we go to my Grandmother's for 'food food', desert, and more presents. (Now it's usually just for the little kids and for my grandma and grandpa).
Then back home and sleep. Next day or the Saturday after is my dad's/dad's side of the family.
It changes year to year.
It used to be dad's side for xmas eve, mom's side for xmas and we'd start at home, then grandma's then aunt's, then back to grandma's.
Oh, and my mom is one of 9, my dad is one of 8.. and many are married and have kids of their own. So our parties are kind of huge.
Nobody really celebrates anything in my house
So nothing

Also, they're socially awkward and I am always worried that I have offended them somehow. I think I may introduce lots of alcohol into the scenario this year and see how that goes!

I'm probably going to be sleeping in my room or messaging people on skype about how bored I am. And playing pokemon.
Unless my half-brother's family is doing something, then I'll be eating a whole bunch of food.
Pfft, you should see how much alcohol my dad/dad's family gets for holidays and they are all 50-70 (well my grandma is 92 - and she still drinks and smokes, too). And he buys expensive stuff, too. I think he spent over $500 on St. Patrick's day this past year. There's a story with that but it's gross and I try not to relive it.
@(you need an account to see links): Good luck with that, though. It's the worst being around people who are easily offended. Maybe a little social lubricant will help. :/

I'll build a trap for Santa.
Or rather sit in a corner with my cats and whine that I'm single on Christmas.
Thank godness I have options
