I know man, just last night she was giving me heat for not showing my love for her mom enough and taking sides.

Watch your own kid too bro, or else she'll become a spunky hairstylist who won't take nothing from no one.

How to Love by Katie Cotugno just came out but it is now one of my favorite books. So beautiful and the writing is amazing. All of Jennifer Echols' books are super entertaining and so well-written. Oh! I adore Miranda Kenneally's books as well. Catching Jordan is the first one. All stand alone but the previous characters pop up in the next books. Also Stephanie Perkins has some hilarious and romantic books. Anna and the French Kiss is the first one. It made me giggle so much. I am sure I can think of more if you still need suggestions. ^_^

A few others-Sarah Ockler, Jennifer E. Smith, Leila Sales, Jessi Kirby (all have more than one contemporary book and all are stand alone).

    Thanks Anne <3

Well my favorite book is Into The Wild but that's nonfiction, I also really liked 1984, Gone With the Wind, and the Call of the Wild

The Book Thief and I Am The Messenger by Markus Zusak are SUPER good.

And I just read 'I Hunt Killers' by Bary Lyga and that book was AWESOME. There's a sequel to it called 'The Game'. So you could check that out.

There's also The Alchemyst [The Secrets of The Immortal Nicholas Flamel] series by Michael Scott.
