Take some drowsy medicine (eg flu pills) half an hour before your flight. You'll sleep through it.

Although there's really no reason to be scared -- you're more likely to die on the road (car accidents) than in the air. It's that safe! ^^

You'll make it though, i've flown a few times. It's just the ear popping that sucks, so be ready to pop it. Also the salted peanuts (i think they changed it to pretzels) was my fav part, unlimited amount and a nice movie to watch, or better the land below you. It crazy cuz i'm scared of heights, like really high heights. Space needle, I pee'd a lil bit when i looked down. x_x
but like something about being in a huge hunk of metal with a cushion on my ass and buckled in made me feel safe and i didnt feel scared or overwhelmed at all.

Plane rides are fun!on my favorite flight I was super baked. Got paranoid when they made me check my bag because I was too gone to show that it fit nicely into the carry-on tester... But the assent into the air was wonderful! I love window seats,I but it's hard to decide you want to potty if you get one...

I dislike people who lean their seats back. Wish they would stop making seats with that option. Never nice to the person behind you.

One thing I've been meaning to do but always forget is to get drunk whilst I fly. Do that for me?

ANYWAYS, what I do when I go flying is pretend I am a Delta Force commando, about to be dropped from a C-130 Hercules into hostile territory to engage enemy forces.

That, or I imagine there will be an on-board terrorist aircraft hijacking, where I rise up to the occasion and take out the terrorists in an action-packed, heroic manner to receive great praise and admiration from everyone when I land.
