okay not at all but

I used to live in Japan! It's a polite, coy culture. Not necessarily quiet.. just... shy Suimasen means "excuse me," you'd probably have to use that one a lot haha!

it's swe-MA-sen

(swe as in sweden)
(MA isn't super duper emphasized, it's just a little more than the others)
(n in sen is barely heard. it's like you're trying to say "send" but you trailed off in the back)
