How to Snipe!

Have you ever wanted to snipe something and actually win it? Have you never had the chance to do it legit? Well today is your lucky day since ill be writing a STEP-BY-STEP on how to snipe on neopets.

Step 1. :

First of this is a technique i learned all by myself and not with the help of others. First Auctions can be found by clicking Auctions from the Shop options found in the middle of the screen.Scrolling down you can find [ Auctions 1 - 20 ][ 21 - 40 ][ 41 - 60 ][ 61 - 80 ][ 81+ ].You will check each and every page for auction coming up soon.Why? You will need to prepare yourself is why.

Step 2. :

You see an item in the number 68. You will wait until it hits the first page and the number 5. It isnt necessary to start bidding before that because you will only raise the price of the item.

Step 3. :

Okay now the item is at number 5. But before it hit this number you have thought in your mind how will you bid. Lets say the item is going for 100,000 and the Minimum Increment is 1,000.You will always be ahead by 3 bids by the other snipers. So what i mean is that you will type 115,000. Why 15,000 increment?Because thats being ahead of others by 3-4 bids. If your bid doesnt go in instantly then you just refresh.IF it says you need to bid more then you redo this process once again just with a higher bid.If it goes in doesnt mean you have won just yet, you need to try to get another bid in just in case if some noob tries to overbid you with a clickbid.

Step 4. :

Increments matter the most.If the minimum increment was to be 1,000 then you would bid like in step 3.But if the increment is higher lets say 10,000 then you have to think again what would a bid be that would go in. These higher increments also make you do 3-4 bids ahead of others. Here if the item at the moment is 150,000 then you would type 200,000.I believe you have a 75% of getting the bid in.

Some importance :

You have to know that even though the minumum increment can be anything you can still add a maximum of 5,000 neopoints to the bid. For example you have a item going for 1,000 with a minimum increment of 1,000 then you can do a bid of 7,000.Since its going for 1,000 and when you try to bid it will say bid 2,000 but you can add another 5,000 to it.
Also the items and time counts : It does matter what time you are bidding at. If it say 2 am NST then most neopet snipers are offline which grants you a bigger chance of winning the item. If the item is a draik mp which is very popular and everyone knows its Easy To Sell. Many people will try to go for it, yes even noobs will try.The price of these popular items will rise much quicker then items not so popular.Your bids will go in much quicker and you will need to bid at least 4 times on the item.
