    Can anyone retrace a cellphone?

My sister is currently studying abroad, and she post her cellphone. Somebody probably took it and all her important stuff was in it.

If anybody has the capacity of locating the cellphone, please post or contact me. I will of course +rep and will pay if absolutely needed.

What kind of phone was it? If it was an iphone I think you can find it from any other Apple device. If not maybe try contacting your cellphone provider and seeing if they can trace it maybe?

    It's a iPhone.
I have never done it before, so how can I do that from a mac, as an example?

That link should explain it, @(you need an account to see links). You have to install an app on your mac it looks like and it should be able to trace it. I hope that helps!

Are you sure? Because I don't have the app installed, but if I go to iCloud settings it says Find my iPhone

    It's written
...and if you set it up to use Find My iPhone before it was stolen,...
So I'm pretty sure Math is right and this option won't work.

Can you call your carrier and see if they can help you out?
Or just keep calling the phone maybe somebody will pick up x)
    What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left

Try asking your sister if she has iCloud turned on on her phone, my past 2 iPhones have all had Find My iPhone automatically turned on if iCloud is on
