Scammers exist everywhere, be wary and stay safe. However, consider it this way. People are less like to scam if the thing that you are dealing with is easily achieved for them. For example, a clraik user is less likely to scam you over something like a million neopoints, because if they are equipped with the means to easily make that amount they would have no need to scam. Indeed, a user's reputation in such a circumstance might be worth more to them than that amount of neopoints. In the same manner, someone with lots of UCs and the ability to get lots of them, would value their reputation over the UCs themselves. Or perhaps, they'd value you for your ability to buy the UCs and if you were scammed then they would possibly be robbing themselves permanently of an avenue of profit. Are they less likely to scam you?
Either way, I think that it's a really interesting question. On a site dedicated to cheating would people be more or less likely to scam or do they have the same likelihood of scamming? I personally think that people who cheat are more trustworthy because those who are more equipped with the means of making wealth are less likely to scam over something they consider to be a trifle, but in any case, watch those rare and precious items because if they are just as unobtainable to cheaters and normal players, the question is are humans always so different? xD
(and the number of banned users is scary, just saying. Clraik probably has a good reason to ban just like it has a good reason to keep up a good reputation and make sure that this place is safe for any neopian user. Scammers damage confidence and that is what nobody wants. )

This. What you won't need are Social Justice Warriors (lol....) stalking you and trying to screw you up out of jealousy. Truthfully, lots of people experience jealousy and likely want to screw you up but usually aren't insane enough to get that jealous over pixels. Whilst I am not judging the mental capacity of certain individuals who frequent PC I do think that we should cater to their mental deficiency and pretend to the best of our abilities that any pets which aren't legitly obtained are legitly obtained or you will lose them permanently. Of course, that isn't my problem (read: no pets of mention whatsoever) but just be careful with what you do and you'll be fine.
