What is the difference between a chromosome, a chromatid, and a chromatin?
I've been searching all over on Google but I think it's got me confused even more
Here's what I have written down:
CHROMATIN
> DNA strand as a whole
CHROMATID
> half the DNA strand
> two chromatid = one chromatin
CHROMOSOME
??????

In my textbook it says a chromosome makes up a portion of the cell's DNA but isnt that what a chromatid is??
