    Chromosome vs Chromatid vs Chromatin

What is the difference between a chromosome, a chromatid, and a chromatin?
I've been searching all over on Google but I think it's got me confused even more

Here's what I have written down:
    CHROMATIN
    > DNA strand as a whole

    CHROMATID
    > half the DNA strand
    > two chromatid = one chromatin

    CHROMOSOME
    ??????
    lol

In my textbook it says a chromosome makes up a portion of the cell's DNA but isnt that what a chromatid is??

Help please. Will +rep Please tag me, I must know this

Ok... How to write this in English.

A Chromosome is made of DNA. (As the same form as an X)

Chromatin is a bunch of filaments that contains DNA. When they condensed, they become a chromosome.

Chromatid is a molecule of DNA and represents 1 part of a chromosme (Half of the X) So there's 2 chromatids in 1 chromosome.

    lol learned this last year

my understanding from my teacher is referring to the same material in different forms.

chromatin = uncoiled messy blob of genetic material in nucleus.
chromatid = when the above is coiled
chromosome = a pair of chromatids

@(you need an account to see links) beat me to it!

(ADN in English is DNA, btw)
