And don't take vouches, take money. I don't usually like to leave outstanding payments for trades. There are exceptions, but I would need to feel pretty comfortable with the person.
Youre only as good as your word I guess.

Because, youre right, it's not.

It's more of an honor system kinda thing.

But even so, if you vouch for an account and the account isn't anything like what you vouched it to be... people will still be upset with you for saying so. It's kinda similar in that way I suppose. But I agree, it's not an "official" kinda thing.

The closest thing to 'vouches' on cK is the iTrader feedback system.

And with that, every prospective buyer/seller should consider 2 things when viewing a user's iTrader too:

1. Time elapsed since feedback left - easy for a fresh scammer to be dropped a bunch of nice feedback, only to get you scammed or CBed a month later.
2. The quality of the trades completed - I'd trust someone with 5 $100 trades more, over someone with 500 $1 trades.

Happens all the time. Even over the internet, people can build strong relationships. I wouldn't hesitate to loan a few people off here money if they needed it cause I know they are good for it & if they are asking that they really need it.
