I know that /~neothemes uses an app that changes how pages look...but I'm not sure how to use it. XD
Specifically all the sunnyneo layouts?
Or even all the extra mall banners hosted from their photobuckets etc?
They are a huge pain when trying to buy quickly or multiples if I have to scroll down two screens worth to see the items.
Is there even some kind of chrome extension or adblock feature that could hide these for me?
(Ps I am pretty computer illiterate, so if there is a step by step guide that would be great!)
Thanks for any help!

You can use this GreaseMonkey script: (you need an account to see links)
Thanks, I took a look! Couldn't even find the extention that they mention to use. But I kinda follwed the general steps that it mentioned and was at least able to block all the long mall banners and weird flashy backgrounds. Some of the pages look a little wonky now but that is the extent of my computer knowledge
(It's an improvement at least haha)
Thanks so much!

I've never used GreaseMonkey, is this something that someone with the coding/computer knowledge of a baby could figure out? (Myself)
I will give it a try, but I probably won't make it past the set up process haha.
Thanks!
Greasemonkey is an extension service-I don't know if it works on Google Chrome, but I use it along with FireFox. It's a simple Download and then you just download the add ons that are compatible with it and it should automatically work. A little monkey appears in the top right of the screen and when it's in color (in stead of greyed out) that means that it is on.

If you are using google chrome, I recommend adblock extension. It's pretty simple to use, simply right click -> adblock ->block this ads, or select whatever you wish to block. I recall there is also an option which allow you to block a "certain" link address / https. For example, if you wish to block photobucket, it will block all links from photobuckets.

Thank you both!!
That helped loads. I have been dying to know how to get rid of that junk for years XD
Sorry, and one last question, do you know if we are 'allowed' to block those images? I will do it anyways of course haha, but can I mention it on the (neopets)boards ever? Or is it one of those silly things that is frowned upon by TNT ??
Just in my opinion based on what I know about TNT's general opinions, no, it is not allowed and therefore you shouldn't mention it on the boards. I know that they don't want you using/altering scripts because it gives you an "unfair advantage". Not having to scroll past a user's shop description image clutter ~~ unfair advantage (to TNT).

I guess not having my computer meltdown due to a million dancing neo gifs, blinking backgrounds etc is unfair to other users XD
Heaven forbid I actually get in and out of a shop without my browser freezing (Yes my baby is quite the clunker ahah)
I figured it would be somethign they would not allow, even after all the CGs in shops years ago....
I will take this secert to my neo-grave !
Thanks again!
