like the purge chat, et al, seem very clique-y. but reading their usual conversations they seem supportive of each other. People who treat others shitty because they have a $30 uc are probably unhappy about something with their neopets experience
Though, it may just be me, but very few people I've actually spoken to on the PC have ignored me and made me feel like it's cuz they think they're better than me due to having UCs. Perhaps its just about finding the right people to talk to?

I couldn't care less about UC, for me they are just a trading fodder to get a fandom name I love so I can customise them to perfection
There are a few UCs owner that DO seems to be rude everytime they post on PC, but most of them are nice, if you're nice to them, that is.

The only time PC is a dick to you based on your pets is when
1) you create those attention seeking boards
2) Go on those 'discussion' boards & post thoughts that may offend a particular group of people
3) post on an asshole's board
Lamebox just happens to go under 3)

I always avoid those discussion board, it's a board where you can find people that you thought are nice turn out to be asshole :/
