I would simply like to point out that waiter/waitress makes $2.13 per hour federal minimum wage if they receive tip over $30 per day. If they receive less than $30 in tip per day. they get pay at an hourly rate of $7.25 or something like that. Then again, it all depends on which section you are tabling and how big of a party. While I like your story, it's just that I've done retail and hard labor long enough, and I have many waiter/waitress friends. It also sucks when you tip off the credit card, because they don't get that cashed out for two to three weeks, so try to leave cash.
