I was pretty bummed when I saw that they have reduced the faerie festival to a one-day thing and no more daily faerie quests.... but then I came across this link below, and realized that this could be why they have not done the faerie festival this year, because they are planning an event.
Now it's too early for Halloween , I know, but I can't help but think that since this event starts in Neovia that it will probably be Halloween related.
