    What's your perfered energy drink?

I love energy drinks and I'd like some recommendations.

I personally like Monster. The 0 carbs to be exact. I think it tastes less strong? I also enjoy the lemonade rehab monsters. I used to drink 3 cans a week

What energy drink do you drink? (Details would be nice) and how often you drink it.
If you don't drink it, why? Health concerns?

I like Monster Green normally, and the occasionally original RedBull.

Im a little skeptical about them now because my friends lung clasped while drinking a Four Loko (Canadian version)

I prefer Monster over them all.
But I do like the occasional Amp / Redbull.

    I find energy drinks disgusting.

However, I do drink 2-4 cups of coffee a day. (I make it at home)
    My biggest issue is that I know it's not good for my teeth and because I add cream and sugar I don't always notice how much sugar I ingest every day. ^^;
(Working on going black but I just love how it tastes with cream and sugar).

Redbull was my favorite in high school but I hardly drink it anymore. 5 Hour Energy was good for when I was unloading packages at FedEx on the night shift in college. Now that I have a desk job I'm fond of the Monster Rehabs which is odd since I don't usually drink tea. That or just plane Coke is enough to keep me going. :b

    l2ed l3ull GIVES YOU WINGS!

I personally prefer Red Bull, though I usually end up buying Monster because it's cheaper and I get more for the same price (never know when I'll need more).

I like the crisper taste and size of Red Bull (normal can),
Monster is a lot more candy-tasting and too much in a can for me before I start to get some bad shakes or goes flat on me.

It's much like a battle of Coke vs. Pepsi with those 2 brands:

-Red Bull is the original with a bigger kick to it (flavor-wise), like Coke.
-Monster is more sugary-tasting and meh on my tastebuds, like Pepsi (no offense).

    (Yeah, I'm a Coke guy, )

As for the other brands...too lazy to subject my kidneys to them.

    ---

I only drink them when I have to though, say a night (or hours) before a big test or assignment due. So maybe 1-2 cans a month during school terms; none when I'm not in school.

-The price-per-can is pretty dang high if you drink them regularly in the long run.
-You can get addicted to them (mentally & physiologically - they're essentially "extreme coffee", and yes, you can become dependent on coffee/caffeine).
-They are actually bad for your health (not a myth, despite scientific research backed by these companies) and can damage you if consumed regularly (yes, I still have standards for my own well-being, cK. Just not a lot. ). The concentration of caffeine, taurine, and other compounds in Energy Drinks is well above coffee and natural levels of regular intake; long term consumption will wear out your kidneys and other physiological changes like irregular heartbeat, increased stress to heart, effects to your nervous, cardiovascular, excretory, and even endocrine system. These effects are not only during the effect of drinking the Energy Drink, if you do it too often. Refer to my second point, about physiological addiction/withdrawal, on top of physiological changes in this point.

    With that being said...
