Be careful moving anything now. TNT is SUPER aware of inactive UCs right now. I had a UC that I bought, I've had it sitting on an unknown account safely for over 4 months (was cached, completely unknown, and should have been safe). It was trade reversed in the last few days, and the pet is now frozen. So even months down the line they are catching these things.
Oh and when I say trade reversed, I mean they took the pet from me. I wasn't trying to trade it to someone else. I had traded it to myself forever ago. I had never advertised it, never posted on the boards, no one knew about this pet.

Not really. It is very, very easy to tell if someone is auto feeding most of the time. It doesn't matter if the account is 6 years old or 1 week old. No one is jealous while kad feeding, people that AF just have it kind of coming for them. I cannot tell you how easy it is for an experience kad feeder to spot a AFer.

I would always be too paranoid to put UCs on a count that I recently built. word of advice is to just wait a couple months after you're finished building before you put any valuables (legit or illegit) on it. this isn't foolproof but it's safer to wait a while and see if TNT ever catches you.

ok omfg now i'm paranoid (i keep checking the same few shells i have every 20 minutes to see if they're frozen yet LOL)
althoughhhhh there is the possibility that the uc you bought came from an account with other ucs on it - and the other ucs were sold to someone else and that person advertised the pets the wrong way or was generally suspect, got reported, tnt looked into the matter and explored it that way? just froze all the ucs associated with that account? it doesn't make sense that they'd randomly target an account that isn't on their radar. i doubt they're looking through a list of inactive ucs and doing that. i'm just suggesting this because the latter has happened to me (where inactive accounts have had their pets divided between users) - i try to keep track and check up on the other pets to make sure they're not frozen still periodically, so that i know when to jump ship, but sometimes if the other pets traded away or moved before you get a chance to see, it's impossible to know what their new owners are doing with them.
edit: this is why i like being really detailed when i buy a pet, making sure that i know what i'm getting beforehand. nothing worse than getting a pet that is one google search away from being linked to unerasable proof it came from an inactive, or a pet that came from an account with a bunch of other ucs that may be one day traded away to people who WILL get them frozen, or a pet coming from someone who may one day come back to check up on their account, etc. it's good to ask questions and inquire before buying a pet.
also, whoever got Ludaneas frozen: you were obvious

I had the original account for the pet. Didn't have any other UCs. It was just very inactive. I even played on the account for a few months before moving the pet, no cheating. Also the trade I did was actually a viable trade, not a BNed converted for a UC. I'm very safe with my pets and very patient, I've traded tons of pets I've bought and my main hasn't been frozen in the many years since I started cheating (probably jinxing myself oh well, I'll just buy a new account if so), so this is a new one for me.
oh snap, that is horrible. i'm so sorry. wonder how they caught wind of that one!
Honestly, I think they are just going through inactives with a fine-tooth comb right now due to recent drama Shame though, another UC gone. Was a nice one too.
Or some PCer somehow had the UC's name or account name on their "list" that they spend 5 million hours making and noticed it got logged into or moved... yes, it's definitely the cheaters with no lives.

tnt has never struck me as the kind to look through account lists though! how lame that they've started doing this
I hope I'm safe, though I'm inclined to believe so after some recent events that happened to me. I'm just glad the pet I bought is on its original account now...even if I lost $200 I would rather lose that money and keep my original main with all the pets I actually care about (all converted) than get all frozen.
Fine-toothed comb...I don't like the sound of that. :C

I /really/ hope that's what it was - I mean, not that I think it's good your account is frozen but better some no-life loser with too much time having frozen the pet than some program that catches suspicious UCs. :C
*~a ghost in the sunlight~*
Meh, just as likely that it was some PCer that somehow has a list of every single pet ever created on Neo and they go through it daily However, I'd still be cautious. But that's a given, as always. First time it has happened to me, especially after being so careful.
Luckily I've been so busy lately I've kinda distanced myself from Neopets, so it didn't bother me as much as it could have. Hoping if my main ever gets iced it will be at a point that I don't give a single fuck about Neo xD
