I was studying for a huge test I had on the upcoming Monday. I still remember the look on my face when I got the result. It was utter disappointment in myself. My chances of getting into a good college were crushed. I couldn't face my parents. It was too embarrassing. I would have failed my family. My honor was destroyed. I had a completely different best friend last year and school was 100x easier and life was so much easier but I don't really miss it and everything that has changed was good so I guess I can't really complain that everything's a little more difficult than last year because I'm definitely a lot happier. I was in my first-year of college. (Sophomore now).
I lived in a dorm, in a double. (Living in a dorm, in a triple with my two bffs now).
I was in my first relationship, and at this point in it I was blissfully happy and naive. (We broke up...I broke up. And I don't want a relationship rn).
I didn't know what transsexual meant and I thought open relationships and polyamorous relationships were bad. (I now much more about sexualities, identities, and preferences; I also am more open-minded towards different kinds of relationships).
I was obsessed with BDSM. (Now anything sexual makes me want to throw up).
I thought I'd be majoring in Psychology while doing Pre-Med with the desire to be a Chiropractor. (EAST ASIAN STUDIES MAJOR BITCHES! ESL/EFL Teacher FTW!)
I had no idea that Doctor Who had to do with aliens/outer space. (Fucking Whovian now!)
I didn't like tumblr. (I can't live without it).
I had free time. (I don't).

Last year around the same time? I had just started my science classes, thought I'd do very well and maybe go study health science or something. I had a lot of self-confidence, maybe too much.
Ended up failing 2 classes, abandoned my program and here I am, studying history, with no self-confidence.
I guess I just keep telling myself that if I failed once, it's gonna happen again anyway. (Cause I was always working and studying very hard, but had no results)
