This is a vent post. Repeat: This is a vent post.

So I started seeing somebody new.
His name is Roy, and he's a real life Prince Charming.

We met because he's the stage manager of the theater at our college. The director asked us both to run the booth at our college's "club festival" for the theater program. So we spent like 3 hours there together, and it was fun getting to know him. Definitely.

We talked on Facebook after that, got to know each other some more, and he asked me on a date.

Not just any date.

He asked if he could COOK ME DINNER, guys.

Now let's just back up for a minute here.

I just recently got out of a relationship where the guy's idea of a fantastic date was bringing me a sweet tea from McDonalds and having me sneak out to my alley late at night and sit in his car and talk. Which was nice, but this. THIS.

Just the IDEA of a boy taking the time to COOK for me on a FIRST DATE is astonishing.
(not to mention the fact that he "prepared a menu" of fish filet, scallops, and a cold potato soup + my favorite dessert: s'mores cupcakes)

So I'm getting really used to the idea of this guy, and I mean unfortunately he got called into work that night and had to take a rain check on our date--but it's fine, I just went over to his house and spent some time with him the next day instead, and we're probably gonna cook together this weekend.

SO NOW COMES THE AWKWARD PART

I get an email from Anna, our director.
She's looking for an ASSISTANT stage manager and wondered if I'd be interested.

Uh duh, of course I would.
When I responded, I didn't make the connection between Roy and that position.

And I get a response from her: "Great! Let me know, I'd like to set up an interview with you, Roy, and myself on Thursday this week."

Roy, who I made out with on Wednesday. Awesome.

So anyway, the interview was today and I think he made it as awkward as possible on purpose.
He like, stared at my mouth the whole time, bit his lip and shit... All sexy as fuck...

And Anna, who is sitting there texting RIGHT NEXT TO HIM, doesn't know about us (rephrase: CANT know about us. unprofessional, y'know?)

So yeah. I got speechless, nervous... And I dont think I got the job.

But he's hot as hell and alllll mine right now so I mean, you win some you lose some right?

we'll see. just thought i'd share cause this place is like my diary.
