I have an opportunity to get hired into a 10 week Entry Level Tax Prepare course with Liberty Tax.

Yeah, I got an email today. Liberty Tax Service is holding interviews on September 4th for a select amount of people. I was emailed and offered an interview if I submit my application for it. Debating.

I'll be going to at least 6hrs of class a week, pretty sure paid. I don't have to pay for the course either, just the books, and I am fairly certain they're not expensive books like freaking college books. Ugh.

So I am debating if this is worth it. Really their requirements are that you have to be 18, and you need basic computer skills.
    Check.

Anyone have their two cents? I want opinions. Worth it?

    -Training is free & paid.
-If you're asking on cK, you already want to.
-Pay is probably better than at the cheese factory.

Would you rather be working with taxes, or cheese?

    ^Ask yourself that, out loud.

    Cheese is delicious!

Well I mean, working at Cracker Barrel is fun, but I barely work. maybe I can do both, though...

And I am not 100% sure the training/classes are paid. But I think they are. xD

    It won't hurt to apply.
Applying doesn't mean you have to accept the job when it's offered.
If you change your mind during the application process, you can always back out.

    Bro do it.
Then you can help me file my taxes that I haven't filed since I was 18.

And then we could be like, then we can do something I seen in the news.
    It goes like this.
We find the information of dead people, then we file taxes in THEIR name.
Once we do that, we get the $$$$
After that, we party our asses off until they catch us and send us to federal prison.
    Sound good?
I'm sure we could get at LEAST a few months of hardcore partying done.

I'd say go for it, what have you got to lose!
Would you still be able to work at your current job while you take the classes? You could always just give it a go, see if you like it. If you don't like it, you can stop, but then you at least said you tried it out.
There are other more permanent positions you can get into with taxes and such. So you might find you love it, or you might find you hate it and cross something else off your list!
    What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left

We will be the highlight of the century.

@(you need an account to see links) I'm sure I could do the classes and my current job at the same time. I have an interview next wednesday in Tampa. So I'll get all the details then. (:
