@(you need an account to see links) he might be a great actor, but the whole point is replacing the character. You need a face to the hero and not 54180740 faces. Robert Downey Jr. will always be the Iron Man, Tobey Maguire will always be Spider-man, Hugh Jackman will always be the Wolverine. The main character, must have this identity with the public, we must see his face and say: "Oh, he is Batman". If they keep replacing, it just loses something.
Also heath had a bunch of great performances , he really hit the ball out of the park with joker and the quotes was from neckbeard fan boys. In contrast afflecks all over twitter , the news (google news) , instagram , reddit and probly any other social media sites people vent on. The reaction has been alot different from heath to affleck and for good reason afflecks never had a good performance in him.
Also affleck acted as (you need an account to see links) it was a major flop and affleck himself vowed to never act as a superhero again as it was a "embarrassment" (not my words , his). My worry is if this flops where does that leave batman? We will need yet another actor for the next movie? Will there even be one for a few years?
Lets hope he surprises us all. When he is playing the batman all he has to do is put on a deep voice and kick ass. But its the Bruce Wayne scenes I worry about.
