I have 8gb as thats what my laptop came with (Purchased in July 2012) and it's more than adequate for gaming. I never worry about lagging etc.
@(you need an account to see links) Good to hear! I can't even play a decent guild vs guild on my laptop because it can't handle too much visual effects. I seriously need an upgrade.
