this is probably a lost cause BUT

    i'm still holding out hope~

so my main account recently got unfrozen. when it did, i didn't know that the email got reverted back to the original one that the account was created with. i bought the account, so the email isn't mine, and i don't have the password, and neither does the person i bought the account from.

before i realized that the email was changed, i changed my password and now i can't fucking remember it. it's been like this for a month.
luckily i have the PIN so i can still play on it, but fucking TNT has ignored my ticket now for a month.

and not only that, but i didn't have google chrome save my password so now i don't have it there either.

i know this is probably a lost cause, but is there any way i can get my password? i remain logged in to my account so i don't have to log out, but i can't purchase NC or update my userlookup and it's fucking annoying.

if you remain logged in, doesn't that mean that chrome saved the password? or do you just have chrome open all the time so you never log out? xD

also this is probably obvious, but have you tried resetting the password on the existing email and getting into that?

you know how you have the option for chrome to "save password" or "never for this site"? i did "never for this site" so when i access chrome's saved passwords, the one for neo isn't listed.

i mean, i just never log out, so even if i close chrome, i'm still logged in to neopets.

    yes, and it didn't work.

i also tried hacking the email because the security question asks for the birthday, so i tried using the birthday on the account since the username matches the email.

    didn't work.

Ohhh ok, I use firefox so I was confused but I just tried it in chrome and I see what you mean. That is a tough one. There must be a way though, I'm sure other people have run into this kind of problem with chrome before (maybe not for neopets, but having to access saved passwords that are hidden like that, for whatever reason). I'm going to try to keep looking, hopefully someone else more knowledgeable can help you out though. That really sucks balls.

Change password settings for specific sites
If you choose to let Google Chrome save website passwords, you'll see a prompt every time you sign in to a new website. If you click Never for this site in the prompt, your password for the site is not saved and the site is added to a list of passwords that are never saved.

    You can edit this list:

Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
    Select Settings.
    Click Show advanced settings.
    Click Manage saved passwords.
In the Passwords dialog that appears, scroll down to the "Never saved" section at the bottom.
To remove a site from this list, select it and click the x that appears the end of the row.
Now revisit the website and you should see the prompt to save your password information again, if you've allowed Google Chrome to show the prompt.

^ this should allow you to change the settings from "never remember" so that you can get the password in your list
