Anyone here forage for wild edibles?

    Any pointers?

I'm thinking of starting. Since Wendy's and sushi is not cheap and there's a lot of rando trees in my city, I figured it might be wise to seize the opportunity. So far I've found hedge berries, raspberries, crab apples, apples, and the occasional potato in people's yards who forget to lock up. I might get a canner and start making jams if I find some strawberries. I often see hares in the park-path across from where I live, so learning to hunt is the next step.

Well I live in TN and we have a lot of cows here. If you wanna trip balls you can dig around in cow shit for some shrooms. More than likely can't live off that but it'll make shit more exciting. I bet hunting would be epic!!

Sounds like I could die from E. coli infection. So yes, probably couldn't live off that.

B'yeah, sometimes when I'm walking through the park-path and see the hares grazing, then look up at me, it's like they want it between the eyes.

Are you trying to be modern hunter or go primal. Like slingshot primal. If your thinking modern.. and live in a city... I wouldn't suggest shooting at rabbits with a gun throughout your city. I just don't see the cops responding well to a forager that shoots rabbits between the eyes.

Modern hunting equipment is pricey, so probably something simple like a hunting sling. I've read they're meant to slow down deer, but since there are no deer around here, I assume a shot from one of those would KO a hare.

Since Canada's gun laws are pretty strict vs. the US, most civilians here don't have guns anyways. They issue possession permits, but virtually no carry-on permits. Possession permits are also tightly regulated.

I always get the biggest ver. of whatever I'm ordering, so a double or triple.
A combo usually runs me $9.49 to $9.96, which is basically 10 bucks.

Also like to pick out 1 value menu item like a Frosty or a JBC, so that's another toonie to the bill.

    ~12 a visit.

I wish. I've been trying to bulk up for a long time, and hoped empty calories would do the trick, even if unhealthy.

Not working, so I guess it's back to counting my macros.
