From what I recall, if you're frozen because for trading with an illegit pet, but weren't actually aware of it's illegitimacy, they usually freeze for a few hours to reverse all the trade(s), so that's probably why she was frozen.
I hope that's the case... I do find it really unfair to freeze people because they are 10th down in a trading chain for an illegit pet they didn't even know was illegit.
