House of Cards
If you haven't seen House of Cards, it's pretty incredible.
Driected by David Fincher with a great cast, so it's basically movie quality TV. It's also impossible to stop watching, I had to binge watch the entire thing in a weekend.
I also enjoy Bones and Lie to me, if you like the crime solving, one case per episode type show. Walking dead is great if you like zombies (I love 'em).

Definitely recommend Sherlock, Dexter, and Game of Thrones (at least, I'm pretty certain GoT is on there).
Dexter is rather gory and disturbing, but it's still good nonetheless. Also, like everyone else, Breaking Bad please.
