He doesn't sound mature enough to be a father anyways.

The only thing I agree with his statement is starting college, but he should've been starting it anyways, whether he was a dad or not.
How else is a family going to make it, if no one is working a stable job, likely by a proper education?

Probably one of those scrubs laying around all day, blowing scraps of money on pot and playing games,
expecting people do everything, while he can tell others he's a "proud dad".

I scorn people like that.

He left his job to start school, which at first caused an issue with me because I thought it would be wise to actually get into school first before quitting a job.

Thats one of the hardest things to do in life sometimes, really stand up for yourself and not allow yourself to be walked on. I still have a lot of trouble with it sometimes. Congrats mama, keep your head up high and it will all work out. ^^
