    Dealing with Neofriend Requests

I've had my account now for about a month and a half I believe and enjoyed complete silence from anyone. However, in the past two days, I have received two neofriend requests. The first one I freaked out internally about and added so that way I could pretend to be all friendly and shit and figure out what the fuck they wanted. Wasn't sure if it was one of my few trusted friends here trolling me or what not since the account that added me looked like a shell.

I was dumb. I neomailed them asking if I knew them, why they added me, etc. Once it was apparent it was not one of my friends here, I did the whole play nice and dumb shit. They didn't accuse me of anything or even hint that I was a cheater and it's been alright so far. My account's gender is female, so I'm using the old fifty smileys and repeated letters trick to seem...girly... So whatever, I'm cool now. This guy added me because he saw me on a HST earlier this month and liked my lookup. Great. No problem.

Today I get another random request....

I'm getting annoyed. I play neopets for me, not to make friends. How do you deal with random neopets requests on legit and illegit accounts?

    And... Is this girly enough?

OMGGG!!! I'm sooooo sorrry I fell asleep last night right after I ate!!!
    -_- Fuck my life...

    Cut a bitch.

But seriously, just send them some message about how you heard hackers steal your bday by neofriending you on shells, so you are not accepting requests.

Or you can just reject/ignore them. They don't get a notice if it is not accepted.

I just ignore requests from people I don't know lol. You could just block NF requests all together perhaps? A lot of people do that and no one really thinks anything of it.

lmfao I type girly too when I get random neomails. I'm not sure why, something about typing like thissss just seems so much more sincere ;p and playful! :* and I'm totally not a cheaterrr hahaha~!! ^__^ silly

But to be honest I usually just block neofriend requests entirely, and set neomails to nf only. Total recluse.

I don't think it's that weird to ask if you know them, if they end up being someone from a previous account user (assuming your using an account you didn't create) then you can just play it off like "Oh, sorry! I have so many neofriends and they keep switching mains, it's hard to keep track @__@ how are you??"

also that's not girly enough because girls don't eat- that's why we also, incidentally, don't poop. but dont tell anyone i told you, it's really hush hush in the female world.

Looks girly to me xD Omg.

Post on your lookup some of your favorite friends nicknames (Kat, Jess, Matt, etc) and then that you really don't have time for anyone else, so unless you talk to them on the boards and get to know someone you are not interested in adding anyone else.
I'm assuming from what I read you never go on the boards. Problem solved..?

There is nothing more I hate on neopets than receiving neomails/neofriend requests. I've blocked everything atm.

I have mine blocked on all my accounts. I only have my small group of friends added. I had people added for auctions but I delete them after.

Just note on your lookup that you only accept nf requests from people you know / interacted with.
But I think keeping some 10 or 15 NFs on a main is a must. Does it affect the way TNT looks into an account....?
