My fellow ck'ers. I'd like to take a moment of your time to bring something that means a great deal to me into the public light. Someone very special has come into my life, and we think it's time to go ahead and let the rest of the world know. Now, before I tell you who it is, let me tell you a few things here.
This woman has been there through a great deal for me. When the flame of my being was nearly extinguished she reignited me and showed me there is more to life than what I believed there to be. This woman has the wisdom to look beyond my faults and recognize the man that can be, and has patiently helped me back onto a righteous path without ever once trying to change the person I am at my core. She deserves nothing less than perfect, because she is perfect in my eyes.
I have been dating now for seven years, and that feels like a long time. Yet, even in my twenty-five years of being alive, I have never met anyone with the amount of integrity, honor, and loyalty that she has not only shown to me, but to everyone who has had the pleasure to know her. This is the kind of woman that inspires me to be a better man, and rather than simply telling me to be a better guy, she has given me the advice and moral guidance to take me by the hand and lead me down this path together.
She is patient and understanding, a necessity for someone who likes me, let alone loves me. In all of her grace, she has the ability to pull me from the edge of my wrath and bring me into her arms and make me so complacent and relaxed that we laugh about how angry I was in seconds. It's the first time I've ever felt that I can be myself entirely around someone. She knows my demons, and even though she inspires me to be better, she loves my evil as much as my good and that in itself is more beautiful than anything I have ever experienced thus far.
Quite honestly, I am in love this woman. It's all happened so fast, but yet at the same time, it seems like it's already been years. I'm reminded of one of my favorite quotes, "Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you was beyond my control." She is everything I have ever wished for, and since we have started talking, I haven't gone a day without talking with her. She is my everything, the first thing I think of when I wake up, and the last before I go to sleep.
