I have to learn how to indirectly sell people things. I have to put the idea into people's heads that they want to buy our products and that it was originally their idea to buy things.

When I worked for Direc I had one of those visa cards as well. It's actually fine. So don't worry about it. (or maybe you should, idrk) I also had to undergo a training like that since I was in the billing dept and we had to talk to a lot of people and learn how to make small talk and be empathetic and shit.
I agree with @(you need an account to see links), wrapping gifts is fun! If you don't see it that way, I guess you'd have to make a way to like it because it's your job, meh. Just be nice to people and stuff.

My Dad worked as the director of loss prevention for Cracker Barrel for like 8 years and they never payed him like that.

Okay well he had a different job, though. That sounds like an actual full-time job and that's more like an office job. They'd do paychecks for him. And I'm pretty sure it's a fairly new pay method as well. ^~^
