I think Joe tried to make it so guests couldn't see spoilers, but it ended up not working too well. But if we could get that working, it would be a great idea! I know a ton of people lurk spam to see what we are up to, they like to see what all the cheaters are doing lol.

We could even have an "everyone write in spoilers" day.

Id probably do that for everything I didn't want anybody other than ck peeps to see.

Make a really ddramatic thread about neopets... Then spoiler it all! If that was me, I'd join just to check it out. Once they do that, they would probably decide to stay!

When I viewed the homepage as a guest, I couldn't see the trades section anymore step 1 complete

I lurk the forums s a ck member anyways :sly: haha, find that signing up was pretty effortless but posting so oftenly is too tedious (until right about now) .. so maybe Joe could allow less public programs and instead create a new low level of memebership like.. rookie (15posts) to tempt more people to sign up

@(you need an account to see links) the public programs still require a clraik account for authorization, just to show you actually signed up but I wouldn't be for that 15 post requirement. Yes more people would sign up but it would mean more spammers just trying to get 15 posts

@(you need an account to see links) oic . Ya that's kinda what I do on other forums haha.. but what about nit allowing guests as a whole altogether and only allowing people who signed up to view the forums? Like maybe put the registration page as the first page to show up so its less of a hassle

I don't think people would know what they are signing up for, then. When I first joined joe's old forum I lurked for about a week to see what it was all about and I decided I liked it. So I signed up. I think hiding certain sections is the best route
