Here are some reasons why it is an advantage for you to be playing now vs. the past:

Pros:

1) Do you like being filthy rich and collecting 100K+ NP a day just from your bank interest?? Well, it's pretty easy to get to that status with the amounts of sellers on here who can supply you with cheap ETS items you can easily turn into pure. The economy of Neopets is quite cheap right now, might as well take advantage.

2) The best programs available right now to you and even more coming.

3) Less players now meaning less competition. This includes restocking, high scores, and other competition-type stuff.

4) There are enough guides on here that can turn the most noob of noob's into a professional cheater in just weeks or maybe even days.

5) We know how to avoid getting iced 90% of the time.

Cons:

1) Less people playing isn't that great for the value of NeoPoints.

2) Pets are more focused on by TNT, IMO. Ever since the NC Mall, they just want to make more money.

Another pro:

You can sell shit you get for real cash. That's the only lure I have into Neopets right now.

The only reason I hang around on cK is for that and the community here.

I do it to bot the hell out of it and have fun pissing legit players off. If I can make a bit of money, that's awesome - if not, it's hella fun ABing so legit players don't get the items.

I feel like ALL neopets (TNT) is only in for the money anymore. Really seems like they don't give a damn about the players now days :/

They don't really have much of a choice. As less people play they have to find new revenue to keep the game profitable.
