Can anyone help me on hurting ribs?

Please dont tell me to put this somewhere else. Within a few hours Im leaving for two weeks, so Im a bit rushed.

Ive had hurting ribs for a while. It between the point where they all "connect" and my stomach. (English isnt my first language so Im not gonna bother to look up the word atm, sorry.)
The past few days it has been getting worse.
So bad I cant find even one position that /doesnt/ hurt them. The only way of describing the pain would be that it feels as if my ribs wanna burst out or something. It feels cramped, as if there isnt enough room. (And no, I dont have anorexia or anything, luckily.)

    I really could use some help, because I wanna enjoy my two weeks. ;;

I do have that feeling sometimes because I'm always sitting in a bad position.
However, my doctor only told me to take pain killer, that there wasn't much else to do.

Not sure if you've got a bigger problem though. D:

Does the pain get worse when you breathe? If so, it definitely is your ribs.

Its a bit hard to explain. The place where it hurts says its my stomach, but my feeling tells me its my ribs. Like my skin is tugging on them.

@(you need an account to see links) The pain always stays the same. Not hurting badly, but certainly annoying enough to feel it all day.

Does the pain sometimes go away, or is it always painful, 24h a day?
If pain killers don't do anything, the problem must be bigger and there sure is some medication you should have before you leave.

I strongly suggest you to see a doctor, however, if you don't have the time for that, just go by a pharmacy, and ask a quick question about your problem and they should tell you what to do without taking hours.

I have an irritable bowel syndrome, and it's pretty severe, and I honestly don't feel the kind of pain he seems to be getting.

Is it like a trip or something?
If it hurts that much, I strongly suggest you to look at it with a specialist, because it may just get worse if you wait too long.

I know it's pretty annoying when you're just about to leave, but I guess you have already tried a bunch of stuff to reduce the pain. D:

@(you need an account to see links) Indeed, we're going to France for two weeks.

Ive tried a few minor things, yes. Luckily the pain isnt /that/ bad most of the time, just plain annoying. VERY annoying, since I cant find a position that makes it less. Sometimes I make a wrong move and then it really hurts, but thats it.
