Ever loved a song so much?

I recently discovered a great song that I'm really really into and it makes me feel good and it's amazing.
I cant stop listening to it on repeat.
But what always happens is that I get so obsessed over the song- there's like a one-week comfortablity period where the song is THE SONG of my life. It's playing in the background for everything I do- drawing, chilling, jamming, etc.
But afterward I get kinda sick of it. And I don't want that to happen lol

So. How do you get a song un-stuck out of your head?

Right now what I'm doing is grouping the song with a bunch of others with the same sound and just putting em on shuffle. I think I'm addicted to the "good vibes" sound

Story of my life lady. Story of my life. But it is really amazing when it happens huh. Right now I've just gotten over Summertime by MCR, and I haven't found my new song yet.

Okay I know I'm off topic and this is bad (Idc okay you posted in spam) but your title reminded me of Eminem, which then just made me think, "Ever loved a song so much you can barely breathe when you hear it?"

Find other songs in the same genre/with the same "feel" to them. Stick them all on a playlist without your song. Try to preserve the greatness of it as long as possible.
