I've been trying to catch up with this show (the Classic Who episodes) for like...ever, but it's really slow going.

Then there's the wait for the 50th anniversary episode. As far as I can remember, there's been no real news about it- if there has been, post it so I can see?
John Hurt as the Doctor-WTF about him?

Well I'm certainly not fond of the fact that the Eighth Doctor is not going to be in the episode which is about him.

idk about john hurt but peter capaldi > everything @ this point. i guess he's just a nemesis for the 50th

Peter Capaldi seems like he's going to be badass as the Doctor.
But we'll just have to wait and see I suppose.

Also wondering what his outfit will look like, and if he'll keep the bowtie?
