Tbh, I don't mind paying for the "perks". It helps the site and the endless amount of work the admins and other staff put in. I never even think about gaining rep. It works out what, �3 something for me? Less than grabbing lunch whilst out for 35 days of awesomeness.
You sure won't get it if you keep telling yourself you won't.
Just be helpful every now and then and you'll have it without knowing it.

Everyone's at the same level. We don't always get repped for helping, but we keep doing because we like to help. It's not a matter of rep. Keep being helpful then!

But yeah I completely feel you, I would love to get official clraik soon.
Just try to help as much as you can, I am personally in the process of making a few guides (damn you procrastination!) and I try to help out as much as I can, hopefully I will get it soon, but I've only been here for a month, so it isn't a big deal.
I don't actually want it for the programs though, I'm already VIP, but I never use the programs... I just like the OC bar haha
