Did any of your issues stem from childhood films?

While watching the Lion King the other day, I realized that last month was the 19th anniversary of one of the most senseless and brutal murders of my childhood.

I couldn't believe it had been 19 years since Scar murdered Mufasa.

I remember watching this film as a kid for the very first time and being horrified at the events that took place when Scar threw Mufasa down the canyon into the approaching stampede. I remember thinking to myself, 'People are capable of anything. Anyone could throw you into a stampede. Never trust anyone'. And I honestly lived like that for such a long time.

Sure enough, my trust issues are a thing of the past, but my teenage years were still flooded with the thought that anyone can really screw you over by the simplest of means, and because I believed that something like that would happen to me I lived such a socially retarded life.

Here is the exact moment my trust issues surfaced as a child - 0:18.

Did anyone else have issues that stemmed from childhood films or television shows? Or, did anyone have issues that plagued them due to any sort of media?
