That's how I've done it. The only way I would bother with the PC is having an experienced PC'er obtain a RW pet for me. That's about it. Unfortunately all the RW's I want are part of sets and they will likely never be UFT/UFA.

PC is retarded. Pretty much the first few posts on any board will set the "tone" of the rest of the board- so like you said, if your first response is some butthurt person with the same pet essentially bitching you out for your offers pretty much every post after that will agree with them.

It creates this feedback loop of shit where people with the pet you are seeking might see that post and think "oh, I guess my pet A is worth a lot more than B, I'm not going to accept any Bs cause I'll get ripped off!" Then everyone with B pets start believing their pets aren't worth A (even if they might be) because all the A owners are rejecting their offers.

I have so many feelings about this you don't even know lool.

As a PCer, I definitely agree.

What else that's annoying when somebody posts, "Thinking of converting this UC pet." and then you go in and all they want are offers or else they'll "convert."
Those boards that just begs for offers, but reject every single offer there is.

I converted an UC plush (a low value one though) when I quit and I made a board lol. A couple people called me out like "there's no way you will do it you just want offers bloo bloo bloo" and when I converted for some reason they got pissed off and were like "wow that was stupid". You can never win with boards like that.

Someone adopted the converted buzz and was calling it a "converted UC" or something, as if that gave it value. xD typical pc mentality.

oh I've seen first hand...had someone do that and then someone with the pet i wanted post saying they /were/ going to offer but now they think my offer is an underoffer if they could get more.

Seriously, when they were children, were they that one kid that had to use all the markers?

So what happens if a ton of people buy a ton of pets and screw up the trading values? Oh wait. That can't be done because PC investigators will freak out over every pet. EVEN THOUGH IT'D BENEFIT THEM IN THE END.
