As someone who has recieved western union MANY times, once it is sent they cannot get it refunded.. but you have to make sure you both have the same exact information down to the letter, or they won't be able to find it. I also agree with what everyone is saying, get your money first.

@(you need an account to see links) beat me to it!
Dont give anything until you pick up the money and have it in your hands.
Once you get home with the cash.. Finish the trade and you're all good!
What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left
Yeah pick up the money first, I'd hold out on doing the transaction all together until you have time to go get the money unless the buyer doesn't mind waiting. I'm only accepting WU from now on due to being chargeback scammed out of $200. I accepted WU payment today but I definitely didn't hand over anything until I went and got the money put into my hand.
Hey, what are the differences in costs between WU and paypal?
I bet WU is good only if you are able to get a minimum $ amount?
Paypal is instantaneous with very minimal fees via gift mode. WU can get very expensive very fast. I did a $250 transaction once and the fee was like $50 for the method they wanted it in. smh
Paypal is easier to chargeback or scam the seller however. It's a hit and miss thing. I've never been chargebacked *knocks on wood*
Yes he can charge back before you pick up. Just pick up the money before you give them the goods.
Edit:
Also sending WU to the US is bizarrely expensive, I can send 200 to Philippines and will be charged $20 but if I send to the US it's like $55.
