    Unless you find the PM or Bettser remember the password, there's not much you can do other than refund the NPs... Sell what you've bought either onsite or here to get their NPs back. It shouldn't be too hard since FFQs aren't that expensive.

    Isn't it standard on vBulletin forums that users can only soft-delete their PMs and admin can go into the CP and find them? Feel like someone I know used that on another forum to read people's messages.

    Really isn't anything else to do. It's not cool to leave the buyer hanging like that. You should have waited to spend the NPs until the trade was done, not halfway through.
    I did wait until it was done, I bought a PDE and a royal paint brush, so I obviously can't sell it back. She mailed me a couple of days later to tell me it was wrong. I did not leave her hanging the trade was done and I never would. I forgot to change the password, my mistake, I am trying my best to fix it. I am not in any way leaving her hanging I am trying to right this. Saying something like that makes me look bad, especially when I am trying to get the PW in any way I can for her.

    Well I doubt Bettser gave you an active shell account, right?
    Honestly, this thread as a whole makes it look bad all together. lol

    You can make a thread and ask, but in the end there really isn't too much that can be done. If the shell is unable to be accessed and the buyer can't use the FFQ, then they didn't get what they paid for at all. So if you can't get the correct password, you will have to give back what they paid for.. somehow.

    you need to be more careful, you're slipping around again bro. as the seller you should have at least made sure the information was correct before selling the ffq.

    and I believe what Andrew means is that it looks sketchy. any prospective buyer could see this thread and be like '-.- nvm about her'

    Well, usually when I do a trade, I talk to the buyer and make sure everything is all good and there are no problems.
    You should have made sure of that before you spent the NPs. Then if something happened after that, it wasn't all on you. Just a suggestion for next time.

    You should always verify the information is correct before selling, and then make sure it works for the buyer before running off with their NPs or USD .
    For a PDE and Royal PB, I can just refund the buyer if the password is unable to be retrieved .
