    question about paypal?

I use my debit with my paypal, so when I pay for something or buy something it should come right off my debit card right?

If you selected your debit card during the transaction information then yes. However Paypal generally defaults to Instant Transfer from the bank account if you also have an checking/savings account tied to it.

Anyway, your question: If I use a debit card, will it be immediate?
    Answer: Yes.

Not always, sometimes it takes a few hours for bank transit.

Your "paypal balance" is the balance in your paypal account. Think of your paypal balance as its own checking account. Your debit card is the money in your actual bank account. It will never show the money in your actual bank account as your "paypal balance". Ever.

Not automatically. You will have to initiate a transfer once you have money in your paypal.

Let's do this scenario so you can get a better idea...

I pay you $5.00 via paypal
+ $5.00 to your Paypal Balance
You want the money on your card
    You initiate a transfer
    - $5.00 from your Paypal Balance
+ $5.00 to your Debit Card
    ----

    Does that make sense?

And I'm not sure if you can transfer money to your debit card or not, I think you will actually need to link your bank account's routing and account number to add funds to your bank account to use the debit card.

Yes thanks. It says you can transfer by debit card but that it will cost 2.9% which I really dont care about. BUt can I do that with my account and just send via to my debit card? @(you need an account to see links)

Yes, if you send as a gift, which is 99% of the transactions on CK. You can use your Debit Card with no fee.

However, I do not believe you can withdrawal money from paypal and put it on your Debit Card. I think you're mistaken. The 2.9% fee thing is when you buy or pay for a good or service via Debit Card rather than as a 'gift' option (send funds to friends/family).

To withdrawal from Paypal Account, you'll have to add your bank account or apply for a Paypal Mastercard Debit Card (free, and really nice to have. You can use it anywhere mastercard is accepted and it takes the funds out of your paypal account rather than your bank account.)
