Beginner's luck with unregs. Please advise me on securing it.

So I stumbled upon the process of unregs by chance, and further research of course brought me here. I've now got an account that I'd really really like to keep safe and need some input from you guys and your wealth of experience.

I've got the email, of course.
The account appears borderline inactive. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone came looking for it in a month or two.
I've slowly messed around with everything that can be messed around with.
The biggest problem is that changing the email is pinned.
I've already tried enough pins to exclude those that are common or made with an educated guess.

Ideally I'd like to change the pin/email, self freeze, and let it sit for a month, but since emails to the registered adress bounce, I'm not sure I could get the account unfrozen. Anybody have experience with bouncing emails and account recovery?

I do not want to submit a ticket.

Can anybody suggest some additional measures for me to take? Besides slowly guessing pins.
Tried searching old topics...but not really finding the right info.

I'd like to be able to fight the original owner and win should they try to reclaim the account.

    Thanks.

If it's a good account then it might be worth paying for a pin crack to have someone get the pin for you, then you'd be free to do what you like. If someone is a casual player though then they probably won't be overly invested in a fight to get their account back even if they do show up again.

Thanks attack. I read that guide after seeing you post it in another thread. I've taken basic security measures...but would like something directly related to the pin/email issue.

Indigo, I'm taking that option under advisement.

Why would you want to change the email? That's the last thing you want to do with an account gotten through unregs. All you have to do is change the password and you are set... leave it alone for a month and then it's fully secured. As for the pin, just submit a ticket. I've done a couple tickets with various degrees of success on accounts I did not create or own legitimately but I've never gotten myself frozen by asking TNT for help.

Can't you get the pin requested to the email? You said you have access to the email..?

They said emails to the registered address keep bouncing.

Yes, the emails bounce, so requesting the pin does nothing. Come on guys, this isn't my first rodeo.

That being said, appreciate the tip graff. I thought that changing the email would keep the original owner from demonstrating proper knowledge of the account. At the same time, fixing the email bounce without alerting TNT seemed favorable. I can see how having consistency in the account info would be even better though.
Good to know you've had luck with tickets. I haven't been thrilled with the idea...still am not, but we shall see.
