I'm trying to leave that to the other thread though, treat this the same as you would Harry Potter, as the character from a book. Whether or not s/he is real isn't really relevant to the question of is the character - god - in this book good or evil.

A good metaphor , now show me someone who was burned at the stake for reading harry potter in English. Then you can compare it to the bible.

P.S the person who burned them was then made a saint by the church in 2000. How can you compare harry potter to this , harry potter was about love conquering all forces , the bible was a way to keep the population stupid.
