You have cat to be kitten me - my car died last night.

    DAMNIT ALL TO HELL.
So now I have to wait until we move back to Ohio and get settled into an apartment to get a new car.
    Fuck my life, so hard.
I HATE not having a car, because it makes me feel like a child. Yay for getting up at 4am to take my husband to base so we can share our Civic haha.

The electrical system in it completely shit out, the timing belt slipped and the wire to the battery melted.
I was like O.O seriously? SHIT.

I lost my license for a month last year, it was pretty much like the worst thing ever. Relying on people to get my son to and from school and me to and from work was awful.

Any idea how much it will cost to fix?

It actually will cost more to fix than the car is worth, so we are going to scrap it for parts and then when we move back home, I will be getting a certified pre-owned. I'm so irritated haha and I do not want to have to get up at 4am to take my husband to work so I can use the car.

Damn, any one of those are a pain in the ass.
    Together that just sucks
The timing belt is especially difficult/aggrivating, I had to change my sisters timing belt recently, and let just say it was not fun.
If you can, when you get your new car, try to get one with a timing chain instead of a belt as they don't break or mess up as easily.
Sorry about your luck, hope you get an awesome car when you get your new one!

All belts are a pain in the ass to deal with. I kept getting junk replacement alternators for my Honda Accord, but I learned to swap the alternator out in just under 20 minutes by myself with the amount of times I had to do it. D:
